geez enough already!

I'm seriously tired of not having anything to say around here! I've started tons of projects and haven't finished a single one, and if I have, it's nothing worth posting haha! My Chicago trip was a bit of a flop- I had to come home due to a "situation" back home (my car is now totaled haha). I'm going insane STILL trying to finalize a sale that was initiated just before/after Christmas time... Working on a quilting project (It's for someone else, I'm not that nerdy, okay???) and I think there's lots more, but that just scratches the surface haha. Sorry folks. I feel like I haven't been here in forever!
Remember that Colbert Nation art contest I mentioned a while back? Well, I never really had time to work on a cool James Jean inspired portrait, so I just submitted my original illustration (see above). The contest is kind of having a hard time with gaining momentum, so I'm not sure how it's going to go... (If there aren't enough submissions, then there won't be a contest lol) Everything just seems to be on hold right now *sigh...*

  3. I let someone borrow my car and they flipped it lol. Okay, so that's not funny but, still, all you can do is laugh about it :p (they're okay, so it's all good).
Thanks for the encouragement, I'm really about to just cancel this sale at any minute just because I'm so frustrated haha!

  6. Quilting just doesn't sound nerdy...sounds delightfully nerdy if you ask me.

Sorry to hear your trip was a flop and well you car too, that really sucks. I live by the "all you can do is laugh about it" motto too. Even though feel like I'm fooling myself doing so eventually makes me feel better. I hope things pick up for you soon! Would love to see something new from you.

  7. awww, thank you andrea :)
and you know what, quilting is actually kind of fun, IF you have really good prepping materials (fabric cutters, quilting square measures, etc) instead of just scissors and a ruler haha. And DON'T sew it by hand. It sounds fun and all, but NO. Sewing machines put hand sewing to shame in a sad way haha!
